For those of you who were interested in my “unofficial” Destiel theme song of sorts, I have good news: I’ve officially completed the song for everyone’s aural pleasure. It’s not perfect, but I think with the addition of some strings and slightly better equipment than simply using my phone to record it, I’m pretty pleased with it. The downside is that I think some parts might be on the soft side…I’m not sure if that’s just because my laptop speakers are crappy or whatnot. If a lot of people think it’s too soft, I’ll try to find a way to make it louder, but admittedly I know pretty much next to nothing about mixing technology, so hopefully this will suffice. Headphones are definitely recommended.

Anyway, I’m just excited to finally see this labor of love come to fruition. Thanks to Jensen and Misha for putting their heart and soul into these characters, and thanks to you all as well for being so wonderful. This fandom is truly amazing, and I’m glad to be able to contribute a little something of my own. Side note: at the very end, you’ll hear a few measures that were inspired by the music from Cas’ resurrection scene in 9x03 and the “talk to me scene” in 8x08—which is actually what inspired me to write a theme for Dean and Cas in the first place, so I wanted to give a little nod to the composer of that particular music piece as well. :)
